Adéagbos makes things speak by placing them in constellations that allow them to unfold their agency. They become interacting bodies that have souls. The work exhibited «Le Souvenir d’un présent invisible (Genève d’hier, Genève d’aujourd’hui)» "The presence of an invisible gift, yesterday's Geneva, today's Geneva" 2018 consists of only five elements: an anitique Bouillotte table and a book, an art magazine, a tobacco jar from the Republic of Benin and a brass crown, yet it triggers numerous stories in the viewers eyes on the stage of the round marble table surrounded by a brass railing.
